The annual statements and annual summaries are plopping on your (digital) doormat by now. The tax authorities will not open the declaration channel until 1 March 2020, but we can already start working for you now.
Digital: please!
VWG is going digital from this year. Many agencies already send the information digitally or offer to download the information. Please send us this information digitally. We will then include the documents in our digital file.
If you prefer to submit the information for your return on paper, this is of course no problem for us.
Pre-completed declaration (VIA)
We take the data from the Pre-completed Tax Return (the VIA) as a starting point. To download that data from the Tax Office, you have to authorise us. This has to be done every year.
You will soon receive a letter from the Inland Revenue for this purpose. Submit that letter to us. We will scan the QR code mentioned in the letter and then we can digitally retrieve the VIA data from the Inland Revenue. PLEASE NOTE: the VIA authorisation letter has a limited shelf life.
Check
Although the VIA data is quite accurate, it still makes sense to check it carefully. To do so, we would like to receive all annual statements and annual statements from you. Of course, it is list with the data required for compiling income tax returns available again.
