Our story

VWG is a regional, committed firm, with a fine history. For more than 75 years, we have provided up-to-date expertise and practical advice. With more than 100 employees and 11 partners working at our offices in Nijmegen and Wijchen, we have a strong presence in the region. VWG is a flexible and approachable organisation with a pleasant work-life balance. We consider it important to be involved in both the well-being of our employees and our clients.

Our mission

Our goal is to unburden the client financially. We do this by focusing on what we are good at. In other words, our five core disciplines: accountancy, tax advice, audit & assurance, corporate finance and payroll. This allows you to fully focus on what you do best: doing business! The mission we pursue within our firm is leading and characterises what we stand for as an organisation:

Professional associations

We are members of several professional associations. For the accountancy department, this concerns the SRA, a network of cooperating accountancy firms. SRA offices are characterised by high-quality financial services for small and medium-sized enterprises. Our tax advisers are mostly members of the Register Belastingadviseurs (RB). This professional association sets a quality standard and provides tax knowledge transfer and support to their members. Finally, we are a member of the INAA network, an international network of accountants and tax advisers from all over the world, enabling us to assist you with your international issues as well.

At VWG, there is hard work, but there is also a focus on life beyond work. There is a healthy work-life balance and I find that very important. In addition, there is little hierarchy felt within the organisation.

At VWG, I can get involved in regional charities. Something I enjoy doing alongside my work as a tax consultant. We are committed to several regional causes. In early January 2021, for instance, we collected money and shelf-life food for Vincentius Society Nijmegen.

Of course, it is very easy to send an email, but at VWG we actually seek each other out. We interact with each other. We tell it like it is. At VWG, we have respect for the client, the client's level and not to forget each other.

Besides hard work, we also make time for sociability. We do this by having a drink at the office on Friday afternoons, for example. It's always nice to talk to your colleagues in a different way to end the week.
