Our story

VWG is een regionaal, betrokken kantoor, met een mooie geschiedenis. Al meer dan 75 jaar leveren wij actuele vakkennis en praktijkgerichte adviezen. Met meer dan 100 medewerkers en 10 vennoten werkzaam op onze vestigingen in Nijmegen en Wijchen, zijn wij sterk vertegenwoordigd in de regio. VWG is een flexibele en laagdrempelige organisatie met een prettige werk-privé balans. We vinden het belangrijk om betrokken te zijn bij zowel het welzijn van onze medewerkers als onze cliënten.

Our mission

Our goal is to unburden the client financially. We do this by focusing on what we are good at. In other words, our five core disciplines: accountancy, tax advice, audit & assurance, corporate finance and payroll. This allows you to fully focus on what you do best: doing business! The mission we pursue within our firm is leading and characterises what we stand for as an organisation:

Professional associations

We are members of several professional associations. For the accountancy department, this concerns the SRA, a network of cooperating accountancy firms. SRA offices are characterised by high-quality financial services for small and medium-sized enterprises. Our tax advisers are mostly members of the Register Belastingadviseurs (RB) and the Nederlandse Orde van Belastingadviseurs (NOB). These professional associations set a quality standard and provide tax knowledge transfer to and support for their members. These professional associations guarantee the quality of professional practice and contribute to continuous knowledge development and professional support for their members.

At VWG, there is hard work, but there is also a focus on life beyond work. There is a healthy work-life balance and I find that very important. In addition, there is little hierarchy felt within the organisation.

At VWG, you can ‘have fun chasing a career’ within a flexible organisation. I ended up at VWG through a canteen day of on the accountancy course.

At VWG, I can get involved in regional charities. Something I enjoy doing alongside my work as a tax consultant. We are committed to several regional causes. In early January 2021, for instance, we collected money and shelf-life food for Vincentius Society Nijmegen.

Of course, it is very easy to send an email, but at VWG we actually seek each other out. We interact with each other. We tell it like it is. At VWG, we have respect for the client, the client's level and not to forget each other.

"Conviviality is just as important"

Besides hard work, we also make time for sociability. We do this by having a drink at the office on Friday afternoons, for example. It's always nice to talk to your colleagues in a different way to end the week.
