The Subsidy Scheme for Private Charging Infrastructure at Businesses (SPRILA) will open from 24 September 2024.
€42 million
The aim of the SPRILA is to encourage operators to install (or seek advice on) charging infrastructure. About €42 million is available for the scheme, of which €4.3 million is earmarked for public transport concession holders and coach companies.
Subsidised are the costs of advice on and/or purchase of charging infrastructure by entrepreneurs.
Opinion
The consultancy scheme reimburses up to 50% of the costs of an external consultant, with a maximum of €3,500. The grant is provided per charging location. Per (group of) applicants, the grant amounts to a maximum of €10,000.
Construction
The subsidy for construction of charging infrastructure must be applied for in advance, except when the subsidy amount is less than €25,000. A maximum of €350,000 subsidy can be applied for per applicant per calendar year. An additional subsidy can be obtained, subject to conditions, for the investment in a stationary battery.

SPULA
There is also a subsidy scheme for publicly accessible charging sites: Public Charging Infrastructure Heavy Transport Subsidy Scheme (SPULA). This scheme has a budget of €15 million and opens on 1 October 2024.
