The Cabinet has indicated that most corona crisis-related support measures will end from 1 April 2022.
NOW and TVL
Wage support through the NOW and TVL support for fixed charges will end after the first quarter of 2022. The application period for NOW-8 runs from 14 February to 13 April 2022. TVL Q1-2022 can be applied for from 28 February to 31 March 2022.
Furthermore, for several earlier periods of the NOW and the TVL, final determination of the grant should be requested in time.
Deferred payment
The special tax deferral will also end from 1 April 2022. This means that all taxes whose due date ends after 31 March 2022 must be paid again. VAT for Q1-2022 must therefore be paid again by 30 April 2022.
Tax debts accrued under the special deferral scheme do not yet have to be paid immediately. These debts may be repaid in 60 equal instalments (5 years), with the first instalment to be paid no later than 31 October 2022. Faster repayment is of course allowed.
