Return 2014 after 28-2-2015

The pre-filled income tax return for 2014 will be available from 1 March 2015. Unlike in previous years, the return does not have to be submitted before 1 April, but before 1 May 2015 have been received (barring, of course, any extensions requested in good time).

The details that the Tax and Customs Administration has pre-filled on the tax return must be checked and, where necessary, completed. Anyone wishing to submit their tax return without making any changes can use the tax return app. This year, the app also includes mortgage details.

In order to encourage taxpayers (even further) to use the pre-filled tax return, the 2014 tax return cannot be submitted electronically to the Tax and Customs Administration until March 2015 at the earliest.

People who submit their tax returns in March are guaranteed to receive a (provisional) notification from the Tax and Customs Administration before 1 July. For tax returns received in April, this is not guaranteed, although the Tax and Customs Administration aims to issue a (provisional) notification before 1 July in those cases as well.
