Since 2013, (European) VAT regulations have made it possible to issue invoices electronically in a straightforward manner. It took a while, but we are now seeing many businesses switching to electronic invoicing. It is also rather cumbersome when invoices created electronically are printed out on paper and sent by post, only to be processed electronically by the recipient in their own accounts.
From 2016, electronic invoicing will also become the standard for VWGNijhof: you will receive our invoices by email in PDF format. We will use the email address we have on file for this purpose.
Of course, clients who do not have email or who prefer to receive it in this way for other reasons will simply receive their invoice on paper by post.
