ESF grant for sustainable employability

Is your organisation working to keep staff healthy and motivated in collaboration with an external consultant? If so, the costs you incur for this may be eligible for a grant of up to €10,000.

Who is the ESF scheme intended for?

The aim of this scheme is to encourage more organisations to invest in projects designed to keep staff healthy, motivated, competent and productive, both now and in the future.
The scheme is therefore intended for organisations that receive advice accompanied by an implementation plan, or guidance on implementing such advice, and which in this way contribute to ensuring their staff remain employable in the long term. The exact criteria that organisations must meet to be eligible for this grant will be announced after the summer. To give an idea of potentially eligible projects, these are the themes for which the ESF grant was awarded last year:

  • promoting healthy and safe working practices, including a healthier lifestyle, reducing work-related stress and undesirable behaviour in the workplace;
  • promoting a culture of learning for workers, including the recognition of knowledge and skills that are not specific to a particular organisation;
  • encouraging internal mobility amongst staff, anticipating individual ambitions and development opportunities, and supporting employees on their path to entrepreneurship;
  • promoting a flexible working culture, including the introduction of flexible working time arrangements.

How much is the grant?

The grant amounts to a maximum of 50% of the project costs, up to a total of €10,000.

By what date do I need to apply for this grant?

The scheme is expected to open for applications in early 2018, and the government will announce the details before then. You can be kept informed in good time. Please feel free to contact our partner, Major Q, for further information. via the application form.
