I’m not really one for IT for IT’s sake. It has to deliver something: less hassle, better processes, greater control and the freedom to look ahead. That’s why, through IT & Data Consultancy, I help organisations not just with the technical side, but above all by asking what can be done more intelligently, more simply or more effectively.In doing so, I like to look beyond the immediate problem at hand. After all, the solution is by no means always to be found in new software. Sometimes a process needs to be changed; sometimes clear decisions are needed; and sometimes you simply need to stop doing things that have become unnecessarily complicated.
